Obamas not invited to Royal Wedding!

First Lady Michelle Obama did a Hyacinth Bucket routine when she discovered that she and her husband, Barack, were not invited to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

"She blew her stack alright", stated a White House page. "You could have heard her on the White House lawn. In fact, several personal guards came running in, thinking that a bomb had exploded."

Actually it had. Michelle had just received the message that while she and Obama have not been invited, France's president Nicolas Sarkozy had.

"That little shrimp?", yelled the First Lady. "How does he rank an invitation?"

"It is certainly not always the case that all foreign heads of state will be excluded", stated one British official. "The guest list is still being drawn up and things could change, but as things stand it's right to say Mr and Mrs. Obama will not be invited. I think the Queen thought that Mrs. Obama was getting a little pussy...pushy, pardon, on her last visit...a bit too familiar."

At this writing no invitation has been received and even if it is, the White House staff now say that Michelle will probably turn it down.

"I can snub people too", stated the First Lady, according to the same White House page.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
