WASHINGTON, DC - President Obama released his new Advanced Stimulus System (ASS), that he touts as "twice as good as the last plan".
Although the details of the plan won't be released until next week, he outlined the cost and the benefits:
"While the last plan only cost taxpayers $800 billion, the new ASS stimulus will have a cost of $1.5 trillion. With this new plan, we expect the unemployment rate to increase 3.5 percent to 13.1 percent, more than double the increase from the last stimulus."
"I am confident that Congress can begin working on passing the ASS plan within the next three months." he added.
