General Stanley McChrystal, the Top U.S. War Commander in Afghanistan apologized for his role in a, "Rolling Stone" article in which he is quoted as being highly critical of the Obama Administration.
From a desolate firebase on the Pakistan border, General McChrystal issued his apology as another mortar round landed near the perimeter. "Yeah," the General said, "I violated protocol in that article, and I wasn't able to fully articulate the issues that I am currently facing over here in the war. Please excuse me for a moment."
The General retreated to a foxhole, then came back with an air of refreshment on his face. "Here," he said, as he handed the reporter a crumpled Rolling Stone Magazine. "I feel better now. Words can only convey so much. Send Barack my love."
