Since every other group from the Tea Party to Illegal Immigrants are planning protests around the country, Vampire Brian Vosay says that his group are ready to do a protest night walk in downtown Manhattan this fall.
"Everyone is talking about their civil rights and what they are entitled to do and say and receive. What about us vampires?"
Vosay then told reporters last night that his group is played in movies either as beasts or lovesick teenagers.
"We are like the American Indians or should I say, Native Americans. First we are treated like the villains of the old west movies and now as the great environmentalists. They were/are neither. They were people who merely wanted to live and hunt and live off the land in peace."
Vampires are much the same according to Vosay.
"We vampires merely want to be left alone to nibble a bit hither and yon. We are not romantic teenagers, although they are the best to nibble on."
Brian Vosay says the public will here more about their "Midnight In Manhattan March" later on, then vanished.
"This is UP2 reporter, Dan Hillyard reporting and heading home to change his pants. Boy did that guy's eyes need some Visine or what?"
