It is a phenomenon that has been reported occurring all over the US in the last few months, what appears to be a human tongue is growing out of the ground at numerous grave sites. While the news media has been slow to report it for fear of mass hysteria, rumors of the occurrence have been growing on the internet for several weeks. Teams of investigators from various government agencies have been seen dressed out in protective gear inspecting the sites.

The re-occurring thread in the mystery is that all of the people buried at the grave sites where this is occurring were participants in Tea Party rallies and were vocal in their condemnation of the sick and handicapped that were at the rallies to demonstrate for help and health care. A consistent report is that the sites have a foul smell and that stray dogs have been seen rolling on the faux tongues, urinating and defecating on them, while dead carrion birds have been found nearby.

In the most recent tongue incident, a man in Texas who died of an apparent heart attack after leaving a rally, was buried in a local cemetery and a tongue grew out of his grave a few days later. People at the Tea Party rally reported that the man had shouted at a person crippled by Parkinson's disease to "Get a job, deadbeat," threw a dollar bill at him, and then offered the man a sponge filled with vinegar to quench his thirst when he asked for water. The crowd laughed. The man dropped dead a he left the rally to attend a meeting of his church's elders.

In other news from Texas, the State Board of Education has announced thst they are eliminating all reference to US history from their textbooks, other than The Story Of The Alamo, Little Black Sambo, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
