Secret Agent Double-O'Keefe is Licensed to Bug!

New Orleans - The Big Easy was rocked today as Secret Agent James O'Keefe was captured during a top secret mission to bug telephones at the office of Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA).

O'Keefe's daring plan involved going to Landrieu's office disguised as an American citizen. Secreted on his person was a clever device that looked like a cellphone but was able to make not only visual but audio recordings as well. His daring plan was to record two of his junior agents as they entered the office disguised as telephone workers, manipulated the office's telephone in an as-yet-undisclosed manner, and then went to the building's telephone closet before being apprehended. A fourth secret agent waited a couple blocks away in a car equipped with a futuristic device capable of receiving signals from O'Keefe's cellphone and converting them into audible sounds, such as a voice.

"With such amazing technology at their disposal," said worried NEOCONBLOGGER agents, "It's frankly incredible that our agents were caught. In this post-911 era, why would anyone working in an office of the Federal Government have any suspicions of persons without identification seeking access to communications systems?"

O'Keefe had previously won fame by visiting about a dozen ACORN offices until he found one with a fool at the front desk who didn't immediately chuck him out or report him to the police. Through the use of hi-technology "video editing" software, O'Keefe's crack team of NEOCONBLOGGERS were able to delete the part of his videos where he was tossed out of most ACORN offices, thus providing him with confirmation of his long-standing prejudice against organizations that help poor people sign up to vote.

O'Keefe's organization declined to state why Senator Landrieu had been targeted, but she has long been suspected of securing more Medicaid benefits for the people in her state in exchange for her support on health care legislation. "This is suspicious," said Republican National Spokestoken Michael Steele, "Who ever heard of a senator who seeks to get funding for her constituents? We shall just have to send in another operative to get her."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
