Or at least that what his memoirs will say, after Richard Heene serves his 90 days for perpetrating an expensive hoax on state and local authorities for the benefit of press coverage and almost endless self promotion.
Sinking to depths most hard working parents wouldn't dream of, Heene was convicted of launching a home made balloon capable of carrying a small child, then telling authorities that his son was trapped inside. This drama was apparently orchestrated for the benefit of the cameras while Heene had hoped to be cast in a TV reality show. Heene's son was safe and instructed to hide in the house during the melee.
Still pandering to the press, Heene still claims that he really did search the house for the lost child before calling everyone he possibly could (for television exposure). Sticking to his 'victim' story, Heene was overheard in the prison commons area talking with his publicist over the phone.
"What if I was ass-raped, abused, forced to be somebody's bitch, do you think that would sell? What if there was video of me being forced to wax somebody's knob?"
Fellow prisoners in this minimum security jail reportedly walked away from Heene and continue to keep their distance.
"He's just a freak show", said one white collar criminal who chose to remain nameless. "His 15 minutes were up when they found his son in the house, now he's just looking for extra minutes on the clock".
Another prisoner commented, "He's damaged goods for sure, but he does have a pretty mouth".
Heene may get everything he's asking for in prison, without the book deal.
