New Haven, Conn - (Rioters): During his White House days Farren, 57, honed his pitbull reputation as a badass lawyer to the worst of the Bushes.
Yesterday a New Haven judge ordered him to provide a $2 million bail bond after police filed strangulation and attempted murder charges following a domestic fracas.
Farren apparently tried to hammer home his matrimonial message to wife Mary with a metal torch, knocking her unconscious and in need of hospitalization.
Just two days earlier Mrs F had served divorce papers on him citing 'cruel and unusual' behavior as the least of his worries.
A legal attorney by profession Farren had served President Bush Senior as a 1992 re-election deputy manager as well as deputy director for the Bush transition team in 1989.
In 2007 he became George Bush Junior's deputy White House counsel in a position where he was able to explore the pitbull instincts of his Bush family employers.
His attorneys said today they were confident he'd make the two million dollars bail.
