After getting out of bed around 2:45am Thursday morning for a drink of water, area resident Christopher Baker could scarcely believe his eyes when he peeked into the guest bath and noticed the total mess the girls made in there.
The girls in question are Mr. Baker's two young daughters. "Yeah, it's their bathroom and they know better than to trash it. They are just making more work for themselves," Baker quipped. "Their mother is going to be really ticked when she sees it in the morning."
Baker's daughters, ages 5 and 10 have been down this road before and are in for a good talking to according to Baker. "We have tried to teach them to clean up after themselves, but before you know it stuff is everywhere. Trash on the floor, soap in the sink, toothpaste in the toilet. When is this going to end?"
Although Baker is holding out hope that it won't happen again, he is not that naive. "Oh sure, they'll say that they are sorry and blah, blah, blah. But in the end, I guess we'll just have to accept it. I am so tired." Baker has been known to stay up all night cleaning the house, as has his better half Adriana. "I just know that she'll [Adriana] say that this is somehow my fault," Baker said. "I'm almost certain that I am not getting a new Ipod for Father's Day either."
