A revealing new expose about Santa Claus has North Pole public relations management team scrambling for answers and a potential spin on recent New York news reports.
Found in multiple after-hours clubs in and around New York this past weekend, and photographed with several ladies of questionable moral background, dirt covered and inebriated Santa was seen whooping it up for the crowd then seen leaving suddenly before sunrise.
Candy Kane, a SoHo resident and after hours club bartender tells reporters, "He looks amazingly like Dan Aykroyd from the movie Trading Places. At one point he even pulled out a smoked salmon from under his beard to share with the ladies at the table. I'm not sure I would have eaten any."
Suggesting that it might have actually been Mr. Aykroyd instead, Ms. Kane replied, "No. The dude had a real sleigh on the roof of the building, with those cute little reindeer pulling the thing. He brandished a gun and yelled at them to fly. I watched him take off myself."
Trading Placed director John Landis reluctantly tells reporters, "We had a pretty good idea of what Santa actually looked like, and we strived for that realistic look for Dan. Thanks to a couple of late nights at the White Horse Inn with Eddie and Dan, and doing shots with the fat man himself, we knew how to portray the part."
When asked about any ramifications of the recent story, Landis replied, "Sad for the kids really. Hate to see the Santa image tarnished, but he was bound to be captured on film someday."
