Hours of negotiations,arm twisting, and begging have finally paid off.
A Senate Democratic spokesman said, "We've made historic progress with our La. and Ar. hold-outs, a compromise has been agreed to and will be ratified by mail."
It looks as though the compromise involves something to do with a trip planned for later next month that will start somewhere up North. Polls taken shortly after the agreement favor the special trip.
When pressed for more info. the spokesman devulged further details, "For their votes to move the Health Reform legislation along we made some calls and pulled some strings and arranged for the 2 "previous hold-outs" to hitch a ride with Santa, next month."
This didn't come without a costs, it was reported that for the precious space in Santa's sleigh the elves will get to spend the off season with John Goslin.
