In a fleeting moment of sanity on Capital Hill today President Obama addressed Congress giving instructions for the up coming budget. Obama stressed that the federal government must do the same as the American people are having to do in these difficult economic times.
In his address he said that the government must make due with less revenue, find creative ways to stretch their dollars in order not to burden the American people. They should spend less time trying to think of ways to tax citizens and spend that time seeking out and stopping those billions of dollars in waste we all know is in the system.
No, no, this really didn't happen. What did you expect. This is political satire. Or maybe this is just wishful thinking. In the real world, their all still up there in Washington, each and every one of those useful idiots, spending your money like drunken sailors. No offense intended to drunken sailors here.
Our elected officials have lost touch with reality, the American people, and the Constitution. Vote them all out when you get a chance.
