New York, Thursday. The Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg, has revealed that in his spare time he likes nothing better than placing Canadian ferrets down his pants, in the time honoured fashion of old European migrants.
Bloomberg says that he never commences a busy day without first indulging in this unusual ritual.
Bloomberg is not alone in his quirky, eccentric behaviour. Previous mayors such as Ed Koch and William T Bunton indulged themselves in weird and wonderful practices. Mayor Koch was extremely fond of having his hands tied behind his back and then being suspended by his wrists from a meat hook in the ceiling of City Hall for long hours. He claimed this helped him build character to make better decisions for the Big Apple.
Mayor Bunton's eccentricity could never be topped as he always insisted that his underlings visit his office in the nude.
Reason? We leave this to your imagination. These somewhat silly acts are inexplicable to all except the offenders themslves.
