Due to a plethora of recent tea parties, the good congressman from South Carolina, Joe Wilson, was suffering not, as formerly suspected, from an excess of red-necked zeal for protecting the country from its semi-black president at all. Rather, he was the innocent victim of caffeine madness.
Citing the successful Twinkie defense that led to the exoneration of a stone-cold murderer, the Congressman told this reporter that he cannot be held accountable for his actions and promised to enter rehab immediately.
