Former governor Palin is still being coy about her plans to run for the presidency in 2102 however top Republicans confide that she is secretly mobilizing for a serious run at president Obama.
Starting at the grass roots level Palin has organized a number of bake-sales, fish-fries and silent auctions in her home state to raise money for the grueling campaign.
On the national level she has shot a Jenny Craig weight-loss by hunting video with Marie Osmond and her husband Todd that is due for release on television this fall co-starring a number of convicts she pardoned while governor. There is lots of song and dance numbers in the video featuring the convicts that Palin hopes will broaden her support with gay Republicans.
While always popular with Republicans, Palin hopes to break through to Democrats in the next election by undermining the President's strength with Democrats by using kryptonite strategically placed in his cigarettes, wife Michelle's brassiere, and Joe Biden's toupee.
Republicans have also come up with the idea of disguising the Kryptonite as tennis balls that they hope supporters will throw at Obama as he campaigns.
Palin's planners say she will debate Obama only after he has been weakened by exposure to Krytonite on the campaign trail for some time and only in small towns where there are no tall buildings to leap over or telephone booths to change in.
