SAN FRANCISCO, CA - J. K. Rowling-Paper has signed a deal with the San Francisco Onion to produce a series of seven spoofs loosely based on her best-selling Hairy Potthead novels starring Jamie Waylett.

Fresh from an arrest for marijuana possession, the popular movie co-star and inspiration for the spoof series is said to be "flying high" on the heels of this latest news, with "his head in the clouds."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," said the star, who is under the mistaken assumption I'll pay him enough for his participation to buy a sack. "Do you have any potato chips?"

"Readership has expired now that the Jackson thing is beginning to die down a little bit," said SFO spokeswoman Ginger Steele, "plus we've been having some contract issues with the man with the world's largest penis and the woman with the world's largest vagina. These medicinal-grade movies should be just the remedy we need."

Titles in the feel-good series include:

Hairy Potthead and the Sorcerers, Stoned
Hairy Potthead and the Carbureted Chamber of Secrets
Hairy Potthead and the Prisoner of Indica
Hairy Potthead and the Goblet of Anything, as Long as It's Wet
Hairy Potthead and the Order at the Take-Out Window
Hairy Potthead and the Half-Baked Prince
Hairy Potthead and the Empty Cupboard

See what all the "buzz" is about; catch every episode in TheSpoof.com's magazine section, and you'll see why the New York Times List called The Hairy Potthead series "the funniest thing not yet written."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
