Daniel Radcliffe, alias Harry Potter, doesn't appreciate the drinking age in the United States because he's still not old enough to go into liquor stores or to party legally, according to The Daily News.
Since he's been living in New York City because he's doing still another movie, he had hoped to be out on the party scene at the clubs and bars. But he was sorely disappointed when he found out that the drinking age is actually 21.
Radcliffe told the News:
"My first night in New York we all went out and I was like, 'Yeah let's do it!" And then I was like,'The drinking age is what?' Like I had no idea!"
Aw, "like he's a poor guy!"
But he says he plans to be back to party when he's of age.
"It's okay, I'll be back in a few years."
Wonder who he thinks he's kidding?
I bet he's able to get into the clubs anyway and is afraid to brag about it so he won't get busted.
Just wave the wand, Daniel, and the liquor will come forth all on it's own..well, maybe via an older friend.
Sometimes getting busted can be just the thing to draw attention to your new movie.
