Hold on to your wallet! Your imaginary friends could cost you money!

If you have, or have ever had an imaginary friend, be prepared to pay even more in federal taxes. Seeking to find ways to increase imaginary revenue, congress has passed, and the president will sign, legislation designed to find them, and tax you on their imaginary behalf.

Some say the law, retroactive to January 12, 1951, was specifically designed to target critics of the administration. "The date is just a coincidence and is not in any way meant to punish one group over another." said white house spokesman, Chris Mathews. He went on to say that "The president himself continues to have several imaginary friends. Most of whom are in his cabinet."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
