HOLLYWOOD - The 'Three Amigos' are now down to two (dos). In what many felt was a huge surprise, Danny Gokey who was favored by many to be the eventual American Idol winner was sent on back to the town that Schlitz Beer made famous Milwaukee.

So that leaves the rock and roller Adam Lambert and the soft-singing Kris Allen.

Ryan Seacrest announced that an all-time record amount of votes were received. The number was 88 billion, yes that's 'illion' with a B.

Of course Fox likes to stress the fact that it was 88 billion votes, which it was, but what they don't say is that really only 12,903 people voted.

One pre-teen girl living in Biloxi, Mississippi, named Julie Lou Fryworthy actually voted 4,872,236 times. Her mom, Lindsay Lou said that she didn't get to bed until 5:15 a.m.

Mrs. Fryworthy did say that her 10-year-old daughter was treated and released from Biloxi's Daughters of The Confederacy Hospital and that her broken right index finger should be out of the cast within six weeks.

Simon Cowell said that even though Gokey had been favored to be in the finals he messed up by his song choice. Cowell remarked that singing the holiday song "Jingle Bells" in May was not a good move.

In fact the caustically blunt Englishmen said, that singing "Jingle Bells" in May made about as much sense as giving a baby pacifier to a piranha.

Paula praised Kris Allen's singing technique but she said that she did not like his choice of singing Miley Cyrus' "Fly On The Wall."

Kris defended his song choice saying that he chose it because it's the favorite song of his great grandmother Angelina "Molasses Muffins " Funghi who just recently turned 109.

He grinned and added that "Fly On The Wall" is also the favorite song of Katie Couric, Condoleezza Rice, most of the Philadelphia Flyers, Hugo Chavez, and Joaquin Phoenix.

Kara DioGuardi said that she did like the music but she did not care for the lyrics.

She said that she did not like the fact that Kris changed the line 'Don't you wish that you could be a fly on the wall' to 'Don't you wish that you could be a picture of a whining woodchuck hanging upside down on the wallpaper.'

And Randy "The Papa Dawg" Jackson said that all three contestants were pitchy, all three chose the wrong song, and two of the three chose the wrong color of socks.

Jackson then reminded everyone that he has worked with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Journey, Francis Scott Key, and Beethoven.

The Las Vegas oddsmakers are picking Adam Lambert to win out over Kris Allen. They do warn however that as everyone saw in the video Kris does have a lot of young girl fans in his native Arkansas.

One reporter said that she counted 21,717 little girls between the ages of 3 and 7. And the reporter said that these little girls, 9,000 of which have the middle name Lou, will be borrowing their mommy's and daddy's and their big sister's cell phones and voting for Kris the kiss.

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell remarked that Adam Lambert proved once again that he is one of the greatest singers to ever grace the American Idol state.

He went on to say that Adam made an excellent song choice by picking Dusty Springfield's "The Son Of A Preacherman."

Paula cried, Kara grinned, Simon admired his black T-shirt, and Randy chewed on a dawg biscuit.

In a related story. Whoopi Goldberg has stated that she is seriously thinking about asking Adam Lambert to marry her. She said that if he says yes, she'll be the happiest black comedienne in America. And if he says no, she'll marry Ryan Seacrest for spite.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
