Jeremiah Redolpho Manchetteu, 21, is not particularly good at the robbery profession nor perhaps, even an ingenious idiot, but he's definitely headed for a whole new bumbler
term of his own.
While out on bail last week and awaiting his trial for four robberies, Manchetteu allegedly followed a man into the restroom at a hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, pulled a gun on him, and got away with $107.
The robbed man just happened to be retired police chief, Arnold Whitaker, of Illinois, who then pulled out his own weapon and went searching after the robber.
He was also aided by other men from the convention he was attending at the hotel where he was robbed for undercover police officers.
Manchetteu was quickly apprehended and this time the judge ordered his bail increased to $1 million.
When asked to comment on the case, Manchetteu reportedly told a reporter, "I'm a smooth operator."
"He's got the brains of a Smoothie, alright! But I think it'd been frozen too hard.", stated another undercover officer.
