Washington, DC - Diana Ross is the top pick of the Obama administration to fill a vacancy on the supreme court should one become available soon.
The president, long a fan of Motown, had more than a few reasons to be happy when he was elected. Among his lesser-known goals was to see Diana Ross on the supreme court.
"Diana Ross is such a natural for the role", Mr. Obama said in a statement announcing the pick, "That woman can beat a gavel like a bass drum! Ms. Ross, who grew up in a housing project in Detroit, Michigan, went on to head the singing group, The Supremes.Their many hits made them one of the most popular Motown groups of the time. Unfortunately, Ms Ross is the only surviving member. Otherwise I'd eventually have a chance to nominate all three."
