An unnamed source at Chrysler LLC disclosed that they, as well as Ford and GM, had a solution to their economic woes.
"The answer is mind-bogglingly simple. We have seven million illegal immigrants taking jobs in our country while we have ten million unemployed Americans. The trick is to keep these people in their own country and we intend to do that by moving all of our operations to Mexico.
"This is beneficial on many levels: no pesky unions, workers there are content to earn $3.50 an hour, and their benefits will include such amenities as free tortillas with their 5 minute lunch."
When asked about the plight of even more displaced American workers, he said,"Screw 'em; we're trying to save the auto industry here. Let 'em get a job in landscaping or tomato picking or some other thankless job that will become available once we get these Mexicans back home."
