San Francisco, Ca - City authorities here in San Francisco today torpedoed proposals for a Heterosexual Pride Day and parade to take place in the city.
City Mayor, Chalfont C Yoghurt refused to be drawn by reporters on the reasons for the refusal, but a spokesman for the city's Department For Public Decency said:
"This project can at best be described as 'ill conceived'. I am certain that the good citizens of this fair city should be protected from the appalling vista of men and women marching through the streets holding hands and kissing each other and stuff like that. Eeuurgh! That would be so GROSSS!"
Conrad and Montserrat Horney, joint backers of the Hetero Pride Day Parade told us:
"Sure we're disappointed, maybe we'll come back with a Donkey Pride Parade or something."
