Protestor Erroneously Throws Fur at Red Paint

Funny story written by Jeff Brone

Employees of the Sherwin Williams company in Pennsylvania were baffled recently when a female college student threw several imitation furs at a truck carrying a shipment of red paint to an Amish country barn painting competition in Lancaster, PA.

The student, identified as Sunflower Bearston, said she recently joined the Protect All the Furry Ones organization and she guessed that "she got confused" at what she was expected to do to protest the purchase of fur by local consumers.

"It seemed kind of funny to me. In addition to having to purchase these fake furs from a local pawn shop, I had to take a bus to the paint warehouse and throw the furs at the truck, or so I thought." said Bearston. "I guess I made a mistake."

Bearston added that she really didn't feel too bad, and thought that "her gesture of protest still made a difference." She hoped that people who regularly purchase red paint would "still refrain from buying furs and think about what happened today."

Bearston said her next assignment would be easier, and she even looked forward to putting lipstick on her dog and make-up on her cat.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
