Bread Basket, Arkansas - A poll of residents of Bread Basket, Arkansas (Ted and Wilma Crackers) has shown that, in this little corner of the country at least, Obama's honeymoon is over. From an approval rating of 85% two weeks ago, it has dropped to 43% here.
Wilma explained; "When Obama was elected, the whole country celebrated. We thought the good times had started, but he's as bad as Bush. The General Stores here in Bread Basket closed down Tuesday so now we have to drive to Bushwood Gulch for provisions and chewing tobacco. And his eyes are too close together."
Ted says he will give the new President another 2 weeks to prove himself.
