In order to reduce the shock of being dropped from Cupid's arrows late last month, the World WitchCraft Federation (WWCF) has partnered with leading chocolatiers all over the world to release a wonderful new concoction known as a "Love Filled Chocolate."
The chocolates, which went on sale earlier this week, have become an overnight success in countries where it has become increasingly difficult to get a little love. Available in many shapes, including the seasonal favorite, the heart, these candies are filled with none other than the WWCF's finest potion, the famed Love Potion #9.
"We want to give the people more than just a good feeling and teeth that hurt like crazy," a WWCF spokesshaman told us late Tuesday afternoon. "We hope that by taking this bold move, we can offset the financial domino effects from the loss of business from Heavenly Creations, and turn our first quarter losses around."
Our source went on to spend several hours buying us drinks and commenting on the as-yet unfounded idea that Cupid was always an over-rated angel suffering from Pater Pan syndrome.
