President elect, Barack Obama has told reporters that had pop singer Miley Cyrus been a candidate in this years elections she would have got his vote.
"My wife and kids are big Hannah Montana fans and we own all Miley Cyrus' recordings", said Obama today, "she'd get my vote any day. She's an inspiration to the American people and the American way of life".
Mr. Obama was responding to comments made earlier in the week by Miley Cyrus where she said that she would vote Obama if she had a vote.
Mr. Obama credits the brainwashing of Miley Cyrus' addictive powers for persuading the nation to back him and not the old guy and the bimbo with the spectacles and funny voice.
"Her word has more influence than anyone else in American politics", continued Obama, "which is why I will be seeking to find a top place for her in our government brainwashing programme."
