Of course you know him; you've seen him on television during the last couple of months and he's the talk of the town right now: you know, the president elect of the United States, senator Barack Obama, the first Afro-American president. Well, that's what you'd like to believe.
Someone once said that truth is stranger than fiction. So Obama's father was a Kenyan then eh? WRONG!
The Spoof can now exclusively reveal that senator Obama's name has been spelt wrong since the beginning in what seems to be an extraordinary elaborate plot to gain the top job in the world. His real name is Barraque "Paddy" O'Bama, a professional gambler of Irish-French descent. Mr O'Bama is in fact a white Irish boy with blue eyes and red hair, and a penchant for eating smelly cheeses at breakfast.
The Spoof has gained important access to expenses which show hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on theatrical make-up, wigs and basket balls. He also appeared to have had the exclusive use of a speech trainer during his campaign.
There are however signs that he will be gradually revealing his true self over the course of the next few weeks. His upcoming vacation in Gallway Bay for a few days could be taken as an attempt to come clean in this respect.
