Washington - George Tenet left the D.C.
as he was looking for a soul to steal (back).
He was in a bind,
his agency was way behind
because Chalabi had taken a deal.
Tenet came across the Devil
who had a fiddle and was playing it hot.
He then jumped on a soap box stump
and said, "Devil let me tell you what.
You may or may not know it
but I'm the head of the CIA.
I'm in a bind, intel is way behind,
so I challenge you to play (your fiddle)."
Tenet continued while the Devil looked on,
"And if you care to take a dare,
I'll make a bet with you.
I've put up with this Administration for too long,
so if I beat you I'm through."
"You can keep you fiddle,
you can keep your soul,
I'm just lookin' for a way to ‘roll'."
The Devil replied, "I'll take your bet,
but what do I win,
GW has your soul?"
"That don't matter,
I ain't gonna loose,
but if I do it can't get no worse."
Georgie rosin up your bow
and play your fiddle hard.
You've lost your ‘face' in D.C.
and they're lookin' for a scapegoat to charge.
And if you win you get to walk again,
a free man - out of the fold.
But if you lose the Devil gets (what's left of) your soul.
The devil opened up his case
and he said "I'll start this show"
And fire flew from his finger tips
as he rosined up his bow.
And he pulled the bow across the strings
and it made an evil hiss.
Then a band of demons joined in
and it sounded something like this.
And when the Devil finished Tenet said,
"Your pretty good ol' son.
But I made the case for war in Iraq based on fake documents,
Hell that war was just for fun."
"We said ‘fire on Iraqis, run Saddam run.'
George Bush wanted war so we got him one.
Liberals in the house gave us the dough.
We lost our moral ground because ‘Cheney said so.'"
The Devil bowed his head
because he knew that he'd been beat.
George Tenet didn't play a note,
but the Devil still kissed his feet.
Tenet said,
"Just come on back if you ever want to hear me spin.
I told you once, you Osama look-a-like,
this is as shady as it's ever been.
Tenet said, "fire on Iraqis, run Saddam run.
George Bush wanted war so we got him one.
Liberals in the house gave us the dough."
We lost our moral ground because ‘Cheney said so.'"
