WASHINGTON, DC - Leo, a spokesman for the Predators Liberation Organization (PLO) has announced that he has become a vegetarian.
Leo has also said that he is encouraging other lions to join him, stating, "The future of the planet is at stake." He spoke at a press conference held here at his den within the National Zoo grounds.
He spoke forcefully and eloquently about how his health has improved, and that other animals and humans are no longer afraid of him since he has forsworn meat. "It is a wonderful and amazing change in both my outlook, and the attitudes of others toward me," he said.
