Is the body of the missing link: "Bigfoot" really that of the missing primate: "Moe" the chimp?

Los Angeles, California - Exotic animal trackers hired to find former West Covina resident, Moe the chimp that escaped his animal retreat in Devore, California months ago (and who is believed to have taken up residence in the nearby San Bernardo National Forest) expanded their search today when they flew out to Georgia. They hope to examine for themselves the lifeless body of the alleged "Bigfoot" creature to determine if it is in fact that of Moe the chimp.

"We're not looking for the missing link," said Doug Ramsey, one of the exotic animal trackers while checking his lounge into airport security at LAX. "Just our missing primate."

Undaunted by recent failed DNA tests and the apparent height and weight differential between the two primates, the exotic animal trackers deny rumors that they are merely using the trip as an excuse to get a closer look at the alleged mystical creature called, "Bigfoot."

"If it were the case that we were just out looking for a mythical creature then we'd keep on searching for Moe right here," said Ramsey, referring to reports of multiple sightings of the Chubacabra (the legendary goat-sucking creature from Mexico) from undocumented migrant farm workers camping out in the San Bernardino National Forrest. "We don't take stock in such obviously bogus reports of a strange lizard-like creature freely roaming the mountain range from such simple minded folk. If we did, we wouldn't have anytime left to search for Moe. Would we now?" said Ramsey.

Ramsey insists that the "Bigfoot" claim must be checked out as a part of the ongoing search for Moe the chimp.

"We have to rule it out," said Ramsey as he cleared airport security. "Just to be sure. Because as everybody knows, the existence of 'Bigfoot' is very real."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
