Thousands of Americans are rushing to their nearest Wal-mart store to buy the newest accessory for little girls, Hurricane Dolly.
Following news reports that Hurricane Dolly was "sweeping across Texas" and "whipping up a storm" stores all over the U.S A are being flooded by calls to purchase the latest toy craze.
However, the National Hurricane Centre in Miami has today released a statement advising that Hurricane Dolly is in fact a weather system, leaving thousands of disappointed children in its wake.
One disappointed mother, who had driven 400 miles to purchase the "doll" for her daughter, said today," We done thunk it was gonna be like that slut-Barbie Canary Doll with thigh boots and stockings. Ellie-Mae done set her heart on a Hurricane Dolly."
There is a glimmer of hope though. In response to the massive demand for Hurricane Dolly, manufacturers all over America are considering marketing for future weather systems.
As Hurricane Dolly dies out, a hot, wet Summer with lots of rain is predicted by The National Hurricane Centre, who are expecting Hurricane Fanny to put in an appearance soon.
