Crawford, TX -- The Bush Administration announced today that hurricane names shall henceforth commemorate key members and incidents in its administration.
"Why should we give free publicity to some Bob or Nancy," said spokesmodel Dana Perrino, "When we can remind Americans of our incredibly destructive power?"
NOAA staff had initially resisted the change. "However," said one scientist speaking on condition of anonymity, "We soon realized there could be no more appropriate symbol of the politicians running things. Can we have our budget now?"
