Cynthia Palmer, a stay at home mother from Vermont, was watching the television on Monday. She was watching the emerging story of the Austrian abuse scandal, which reminded her the she had left her blueberry muffins in the oven.
"Thank god for that horrible story about the man keeping his daughter in the cellar for 24 years because other wise I would have completely forgotten to take the muffins out".
Due to fortunate timing, "The muffins came out perfectly" unfortunately the Austrian abuse scandal may not turn out nearly as well as Cynthia Palmer's nearly perfect blueberry muffins.
In an effort to offer her condolences Mrs. Palmer has sent a box of freshly baked Vermont muffins to Austria.
