THOMPSON DAILY, ND - David Barker felt empty after the death of his beloved grandmother. Unable to cope with the loss of the woman who had raised him, he became angry and bitter. But then one day, while searching nostalgically through boxes of his grandmother's things in the attic of the home they had shared, David found Jesus, and everything changed.
"I stopped being angry with the world, and with God, for taking my grandmother," said the teen. "I was finally taking the steps toward being happy again."
But just as quickly as Barker found Jesus, he lost him.
"I looked everywhere," said Barker. "Between the sofa cushions, under the refrigerator, and in the glove box of my Corolla. I even searched in the attic where I first found him, but he's just gone."
Barker urges anyone who might find the porcelain Jesus figurine to please return the prized family heirloom to him.
