Amy Winehouse was arrested by London police after a man made an unwarranted advance on her and she slapped him, according to London police reports.
A 38-year-old man approached the 24-year-old singer at a bar where she was playing pool and asked her if she'd like to "get it on". Rather than say "yes" the pop diva slapped the man in the face causing a temporary red mark on his cheek.
"I just asked her if she wanted to get it on", the man stated in an interview. "I do that with lots of girls. Once in a while one of them will say yes."
"I just wanted to play pool", Winehouse whined. "I didn't want to have sex. If he wanted to have sex with me he should have bought me a drink first. Then he would have to show me some proof of income and tell me how he could advance my career. Then I may have considered".
The man said that if she had been 'just some dumb broad' he would have forgotten the whole incident. However, after realizing this was Amy Winehouse, he called police. Police arrested Ms Winehouse.
"If she had just said 'yes' or 'why not' this whole incident could have been avoided", said London Police Chief Inspector Graham Barker.
The man plans to sue Ms Winehouse for emotional distress. Lawyers are seeking £1.2 million.
