BOSTON, MA - The current campaigns for the nominees to the Republican and Democratic parties has had plenty of twists and intrigues. It remains to be seen whether the latest story making the rounds of diners, water coolers, Tupperware parties, and the Moonlite Bunnyranch in Mound House, Nevada, will top them all.
The truth is the reason that Mitt Romney dropped out of the race as Republican presidential nominee is that he lost a five million dollars bet to Hillary Clinton on the Super Bowl.
"Mitt had assurances from Tom Brady, quarterback of the New England Patriots that it was a lock on them beating the New York Giants," said an insider with the Romney campaign. To add insult to injury, the day after Romney dropped out Hillary was able to lend five million dollars of 'Her own money' to her campaign, to keep it going.
Tom Brady denied that going to a 'Few' cigar bars days before the big game with Bill Clinton, had any thing to do with his Super Bowl performance.
