U.S. President George "Wimpy" Bush announced today that he will be opening his presidential library in Spring 2005. Most presidents don't establish libraries until after they are out of office.

"I'll be lucky if I'm still allowed in the U.S., let alone the White House, by the time elections roll around", commented Bush. "I figured I better get my library started before Congress cuts off my funding."

Bush's library consists of one bookcase, which easily holds every book he has ever read. "He was very fond of the book A Duck Is A Duck and after he read The Pokey Little Puppy in college, he adopted it as his manifesto", remarked Barbara Bush.

"It took him 25 years to complete reading Green Eggs And Ham", commented his father. "What do you expect, that Dr. Seuss is some very heavy intellectual reading."

Current plans for the location of the library are for it to be placed at Abdul Afwel-Aghahid's 7-11 in Lubbock, Texas. "I think we can squeeze it in between the rack of nudie magazines and the slurpie machine", remarked Abdul. "The same policy will apply to these books as to the nudie magazines - you can read them as long as you buy a slurpie, and you don't leave the pages sticky."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
