Cape Canaveral, Florida - NASA announced plans today to send the lonely Maytag repairman into space to make repairs on the failing Hubble Telescope. "It was a perfect fit," said a NASA spokesperson, "we have repair job on a limited budget and he is a highly trained and skilled repairman without much to do".
"I know I am up for this job" said Herb, the Maytag repairman. "That daggum thing reminds me of a tub out of a couple of our older model dryers with a gold paint job." I don't look forward to shuttle trip up and back though, I hope they test drive that baby before they take me for a spin".
