Cape Canaveral, Florida (IP) - Space scientists were astounded today when the Pluto bound New Horizons space craft sent photos back to Earth of satellites orbiting the other planets that had been sent aloft by Haiti.
The Republic of Haiti was clearly marked on satellites circling Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. New Horizons had stored the pictures on its computer and then sent them all back to Earth on command.
A picture of Papa Doc Duvalier with an eye winking and a big smile on his face appeared next to the Haitain Republic Coat of Arms painted on the sides of all the satellites.
Social scientist and anthropologist Dr. Henry Finootch who is the cousin of famous space scientist, Dr. Povenmire Finootch, has theorized that the Haitain space program is a perfect explanation as to why Haiti is so poor. He also stated that the spin offs generated by the United States space program have far out weighed the cost but the same does not hold true for Haiti.
