Washington DC - (Rioters): The Nobel Peace Prize committee in Oslo has been inundated with hundreds of nominations for this year's award to go to MSNBC's Chris Matthews who declared last night that the Bush Administration had "finally been caught in their criminality."
"The Hardball show host has been singled out for this year's top gong for having the balls to say out loud what millions have long thought themselves," a Peace Prize adjudication committee member said today.
"Nominations have also pointed out how the Bush Administration has persisted in trying to gag Mr Matthews," the source continued.
"We are examining his remarks about criminality which have some important post-cold war overtones.
"In this respect we are being advised by top NATO criminologists.
"These specialist officials have long maintained that criminology and Kremlinology are both one and the same when you examine the evidence of Bush being a cold war-era KGB plant."
