Fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken has introduced its Freedom Fliers Baskets in preparation for the upcoming 2008 Presidential Election.
"We naturally went with a red, white and blue theme," said a company spokesman. "What true American can resist great food in a Stars and Stripes package?"
Customer response has been outstanding with sales increasing nearly 300 percent in the first week alone.
McDonalds too has jumped aboard with their Presidential Candidate Happy Meals. Despite the children being unable to vote, sales have soared.
"Parents are buying the bobble-heads for themselves," said a Ronald clown during a television commerical shoot promoting the toys.
Burger King, Dairy Queen, Wendy's and Taco Time are also considering election-themed meals.
