New York, New York (IP) - An interview with an off duty judge has revealed what many have suspected: there have been two standards of justice in effect for as long as there have been courts.
One example the judge cited was in the case of divorce cases. Working class men routinely are unfairly ruled against in that the wife almost always gets away with the majority of the assets and custody of the children even when she clearly does not deserve it. The judge explained that this happens because judges are merely lawyers with large egos who have lost touch with the people they rule against.
He admitted that when a judge is going through a divorce that he is routinely given what is known as professional courtesy by other judges and thus never experiences the anguish and suffering that the lower class victims of judicial arrogance and abuse suffer from. The result of this professional courtesy results in judges and wealthy men being given a ruling which is fair and just if not more than fair and just.
The judge said that unfortunately this professional courtesy thing is also enjoyed by police, politicians, and other elite groups and the result is that those who can least afford it (usually working men) end up carrying a lopsided and crippling burden for a great portion of their lives. The children of these men are left without a full father figure and often gravitate to gangs where an artificial family hierarchy replaces the guidance that natural law dictates should belong to the real father of these kids.
