Jimmy Carter, former president of the United States, has moved to a hippie commune at an undisclosed location in northern California.
"It's something I've always wanted to do", said the former president. "A lot of people don't know this about me, but I'm really a hippie at heart. I like living out here with nature. There's no competition here. Everybody is helping everybody else out. We're all in this together, you know."
When asked about the former first lady, Roselyn, President Carter said that she is back in Plains, Georgia. "It's really a drag not having my old lady here with me, but we've all got to find our own path to happiness in the cosmos. For me, it's being here. If Roselyn wants to stay in Plains, that's groovy too."
