Based on a new National Audubon Society study, twenty of the most common North American birds, such as the field sparrow, snow bunting, meadowlark, Northern bobwhite, and whippoorwill, are drastically dead.
"Could have something to do with more families getting automatic shotguns," said Bart Spangler of the -- Don't Be As Dead As A Dodo Society -- "some residential restrictions on ammo may be needed."
"Go to Hell.." Said Charlton Heston's double, "..unlimited ammunition is what Made America Great, and won us all the Wars, including the Big One.." before slamming the phone down.
Mr Spangler admitted that it would be 'Hard' to convince some Americans not to blast away at the wildlife from their back porch.
"It's what they've always done," he said, "and I don't see 'em giving it up because of a few wasted birds..(sigh).."
