Cyberspace - (Ass Mess): President George Bush's platinum Rolex which vanished in a crowded Tirana walkabaout has appeared for sale on eBay at $100,000.
The wristwatch was said to be a 60th birthday gift 'from a grateful Saudi' - reputedly either Prince Bandar or Osama Bin Laden - and was Bush's pride and joy according to White House sources.
It was yanked off his wrist in the Albanian town of Fushe Kruje on Sunday and is now offered for sale on the internet auction site with 'an authenticated dedication on the back'.
Today the White House's shock-jock Tony Snow emphatically denied that the Presidetnhad lost his watch, or had it stolen or than the eBay item was in any way related to him:
"Just because some platinum watch is up for sale with 'To George With Love from Your Saudi Admirers' scrawled on the back doesn't mean a thing.
"Truss me on this one. The President does!"
