Reverend Willie Jefferson, pastor of Trinity Tabernacle Church of God and Christ in Knoxville, Tennesee has a picture of Jesus tattooed on the end of his knob. He claims it's his unique way of delivering his message to the faithful that "Jesus is coming".
That was his defence yesterday in court when he pleaded not guilty to a charge of indecent exposure after he was arrested last December for giving a demonstration of the five knuckle shuffle to an undercover police officer in a public park close to Tennessee University.
"Thumping the bible is one thing," the Knox County judge told him, "but spanking the monkey in a public place gets you thirty days in this state."
Willie plans to open a tattoo and massage parlour where he can continue to practice his mission in private.
