With the news that the state of New Jersey has legalized civil unions between same sex couples, comes another tidbit.
In an effort to rebound from all the negative publicity from his recent comments, Tim Hardaway has announced that he and gay former NBA player John Amaechi will join the New Jersey Nets in a "package deal". Not only that, but the duo will form a symbolic civil union of their own with Isaiah Washington of Grey's Anatomy serving as the Best Man.
Marv Albert will perform the ceremony. Although it is suspected that the union is a sham to deflect attention from Hardaway, Amaechi is willing to "bury the hatchet".
"Tim, do you take this man to be your partner?" - "Yessssssssss!"
