Capitol Hill, Washington D.C. Spoof News Service. In a rare bipartisan move, the House this evening passed, without a single negative vote, articles of impeachment against The Grinch. Only Congresswoman, Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, failed to make the move unanimous, voting "Present" instead of Aye.
The Grinch had been charged by the Judiciary committee with abuse of Christmas and obstruction of Good Cheer. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has threatened a refusal to send the articles to the Senate, because Senate leader Mitch McConnell has publicly stated that he is in collusion with The Grinch, and has no interest in being an unbiased juror when the Senate acts as a jury and votes to convict or acquit.
Meanwhile, The Grinch tweeted that the entire proceeding in the House was a hoax, and a sham, a demeaning of the word impeachment.
"My comments on Christmas, as I made public by offering a sort of transcript of those remarks, made clear that what I said was perfect. I repeat, perfect. There was nothing in anything i have ever said about Christmas that wasn't perfect. Bah! Humbug!
"The vote in the House has demonstrated that the congress is in the hands of a biased bipartisan group of scum who hate anyone who doesn't agree with their view of Christmas. It's all about politics, and with the exception of Gabbardine, they'll all go down to defeat in 2020."
