Debbie Wasserman Schultz was head of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) who devised a limited debate schedule for the Clinton-Sanders primary contest. She also scheduled the debates to be held at a time when viewing would be limited. All of this was so that Bernie Sanders would not get TV exposure to aid his campaign. WassermanSchultz was an is a close friend of Hillary Clinton.
Recently 20,000 E-mails between DNC staffers made public by Wikileaks proved the primary was rigged in favor of Clinton and revealed a resentful disdain toward Sanders. The e-mails forced Wasserman Schultz and four other key players in the DNC to resign.
Because polling indicates beyond doubt that Sanders would have won an election against Donald Trump, and because Schultz caused Hillary to be the candidate against him, the President Elect will appoint Debbie Wasserman Schultz to the Trump cabinet. She will be the Attorney General of The United States who is head of the Department of Justice.
Vice-President elect Michael Pence, who is head of Trump's transition team, stated that "Debbie's leadership at the DNC shows that she has a keen sense of justice and will be a great leader of that department." "Too we think she should be rewarded for her key role in making Donald Trump President of the United States." Wasserman-Schultz has accepted the appointment but could not be reached for comment.
